OCAG @ The Beach!

Otakus in daylight, partaking of outdoor activities? That's not a typo...we raided Huntington State Beach to partake of all manner of beach activities, such as getting smacked around in the waves, playing catch, having a BBQ and roasting s'mores over the firepit while enjoying a bonfire (or trying to, were it not for the people that took over our pit and created a bonfire that could've been viewed from space (nope, not kidding)...sadly, the watermelon we planned to smash remained intact...
OCAG Invades the Fair

Not even the Orange County Fair is safe from an OCAG invasion! Over the course of the day, we as a group took in as much of the deep fried and otherwise unhealthy food we could while riding the rides and trying to win novelty prizes on the midway. I kid you not, deep fried Coke does exist and it's pretty good too!
OCAG July Meetup: Ramen and Karaoke

A relaxing night out full of ramen at Shin Sen Gumi and old fashioned Karaoke (pre Karaoke Revolution) sandwiched between AX and Comic Con...free of the madness that was Harry Potter. So fun was the karaoke, that it didn't matter that we had 20+ in a room designed for 15 at the max...so fun in fact that we rented another studio after we were done in the first one!

Transformers: An OCAG movie outing!

Admit it, you loved this show as a kid! So, despite the reservations most of us seemed to have about this movie, we went ahead and took a chance on seeing it anyway; and what a movie it was! Full of non stop action sequences, it was even better when seen with a group of fellow otakus!
